Role Overview The National Face Designers (National Makeup Artists) serve as the ultimate brand ambassadors and artistry experts for Armani Beauty across the United States. This role bridges the worlds of high‑end makeup artistry, education, field force leadership, and public relations, inspiring consumers, beauty advisors and beauty editors & influencers with the brand's signature aesthetic and techniques. Key Responsibilities Artistry & Brand Representation Embodies and communicates the Armani Beauty point of view across all touch points — counters, events, press, and digital content. Executes flawless makeup applications aligned with Armani Beauty's signature codes (luminosity, skin‑first approach, effortless sophistication). Represents the brand at high‑profile events, fashion shows, VIP client appointments, and media activations. Partners with PR and marketing teams for editorial shoots, influencer collaborations, and brand campaigns. Education & Training Assists the Director of Education in artistry training programs for field teams, beauty advisors, and account executives. Designs educational content (face charts, tutorials, technique guides) reflecting the latest Armani Beauty collections and launches for online and offline channels. Coaches and upskills the field force on selling techniques rooted in artistry expertise. Hosts masterclasses for consumers, press, and retail partners. Business Development Partners with the sales and retail teams to drive sell‑through and counter productivity through artistry activations. Supports new product launches with in‑store demonstrations, retailer events, and training rollouts. Identifies and shares market trends, consumer insights, and competitive intelligence with the brand team. Provides feedback on counter design and visual merchandising to optimize the in‑store artistry experience. Stakeholder Collaboration Works closely with cross‑functional positions: education, marketing, PR, and field force. Liaises with the Global Armani Beauty team in Paris to localize international artistry strategies. Builds and nurtures relationships with key retail partners such as Sephora, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, and Macy's. Mentors and inspires a network of Pro‑Artists (freelancers) and beauty advisors. Profile & Qualifications Experience 5–10+ years of professional makeup artistry experience, ideally in luxury retail beauty, fashion, or editorial. Demonstrated experience in artistry, retail sales, education, training, and/or coaching roles within the beauty industry. Strong track record in cross‑functional relationships. Exceptional makeup artistry skills with mastery of complexion, color, and skincare layering techniques. Outstanding presentation and public speaking abilities — comfortable in front of cameras and large audiences. Strong commercial acumen and ability to connect artistry to sales results. Highly organized, autonomous, and able to manage a heavy travel schedule (national coverage). Proficiency in digital tools and social media for content creation (Instagram, TikTok, video tutorials).
