What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related activities, and emergency response actions when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, high-traffic areas, and exterior locations for unusual activity, and/or report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to site leadership and local authorities when needed.
• Support retail loss prevention and asset protection efforts by observing customer and employee activity, assisting with de-escalation, and following post orders related to detainment procedures and evidence handling.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
