Job Opportunity WSP is currently searching for an Experienced Geologist / Hydrogeologist for our offices in Redmond, WA, Seattle, WA, or Portland, OR. Be involved in projects with our Environment, Remediation, and Water Team and be part of a growing organization that meets our clients’ objectives and solves their challenges. Responsibilities Provide interpretation of subsurface conditions and develop conceptual geologic models using Leapfrog Geo or Leapfrog Works by Seequent. Analyze and interpret geologic and hydrogeological data and prepare reports. Provide technical support for investigations, hydrogeologic testing, visualization, groundwater flow modeling, contaminated sites investigations, and development of conceptual site models. Build and maintain long‑term client relationships by providing technical expertise, responsiveness, and cost‑targeted consulting services. Perform business development activities (client contact/presentations, proposal writing, professional society participation). Serve as an internal technical resource to guide and review to ensure technical quality within WSP. Work closely with other members of the WSP Site Investigation and Remediation Team and the wider WSP technical community. Exercise responsible and ethical decision‑making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct; adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies. Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs. Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrology, or Engineering. Minimum of three years’ experience developing geologic and conceptual site models using Leapfrog Geo or Leapfrog Works by Seequent. Minimum of five years’ experience, preferably in a consulting practice. Strong academic knowledge of physical geology and hydrogeology. Proficiency with soil and rock logging procedures. Practical experience with groundwater sampling, monitoring well installation, and hydraulic conductivity testing. Familiarity with conceptual site model development. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations and technical documentation. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong organization and time‑management skills. Must successfully complete and pass WSP’s Motor Vehicle screening. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Occasional travel may be required. Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG), or Licensed Hydrogeologist (LHg). Post‑graduate degree (M.Sc., Ph.D.) in a related discipline. Familiarity with geophysical methods and interpretation of geophysical data. Experience with GIS, digital databases, and visualization software. Programming experience with Python, R, and VBA. Compensation and Benefits WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings, focused on health and financial stability. Expected Salary: $99,700 – $133,300. WSP USA reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range and to offer additional benefits based on experience and other factors.
