About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Events to take on a senior leadership role with a focus on strategic direction, operational execution, and commercial optimization of hospitality, hotel, and meeting strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of hospitality programs, overseeing hotel and meeting strategies, and ensuring world-class execution across various properties and events. This includes leading the strategic planning for hospitality, driving the implementation of new initiatives, and setting the strategic direction for hotel and meeting planning. The role also involves providing executive oversight of event strategies, maintaining financial oversight, and leading a high-performing team. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 12 years of relevant experience in sports, hospitality, event production, or business strategy. The role requires a proven track record in leading large-scale events and hospitality programs, managing multi-million-dollar budgets, and enterprise vendor negotiations. The ideal candidate will possess executive leadership presence, strong strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of hospitality, ticketing, and premium experience strategy. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential, as is the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment. A high level of commitment to quality, organizational ethics, and the ability to travel and work non-traditional hours are also necessary.
