Local CDL‑B Route Delivery Driver — Building Materials Logistics (Job ID: 1023)

Location: Waukesha, WI 53186
Rate: $24/hour + (Based on experience)

A Day in the Role

You’ll start your morning at our Waukesha facility, review the route, and perform a thorough pre‑trip inspection. With insulation and related building materials loaded, you’ll head out on a pre‑planned schedule. At each stop, you’ll greet site contacts, unload and stage product safely, capture signatures, and keep paperwork tidy. Between routes, you’ll pitch in on warehouse tasks, keep your truck clean and organized, and communicate any maintenance needs so everything runs smoothly the next day.

What You’ll Do

• Complete safe, on‑time deliveries of insulation and building products to local job sites.
• Load, unload, and properly stage materials for daily routes.
• Operate in full compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Conduct daily pre‑trip inspections; assist with minor vehicle upkeep as needed.
• Report mechanical or maintenance concerns promptly to leadership.
• Accurately manage delivery documentation: tickets, bills of lading, customer receipts, and COD transactions.
• Communicate job‑site conditions or customer service issues encountered during deliveries.
• Support warehouse operations between runs; maintain clean, organized equipment and workspaces.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You Bring

• Valid CDL Class B and compliance with all DOT requirements.
• At least 2 years of verifiable experience within the last 5 years operating a straight truck or tractor/trailer.
• Current DOT medical card .
• Clean, insurable driving record and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift, carry, and handle building materials safely.
• Dependable, safety‑first mindset with excellent attention to detail and customer service.
