Overview The US Oncology Network is looking for an Internal Communications Manager to join our team at Texas Oncology . The position is remote and requires the candidate to reside in Texas. What does the Internal Communications Manager do? This position is responsible for internal communications. The position will create, develop, and implement communication that aligns with company vision and direction. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Responsibilities Support and manage internal communication programming, such as employee newsletters, leadership and project email campaigns, intranet content, video stories, and All Hands meetings. Partner with business to develop and execute communication strategies and plans for communicating key initiatives and project updates to employees, accounting for different employee audiences. Identify and track key metrics to measure performance of channels and employee engagement with communications. Advise and consult key stakeholders to ensure effective communication approaches. Research, interview, and write internal communications. Work with stakeholders to develop content for weekly and monthly newsletters. Populate company intranet with stories and content as appropriate. Support the updating of audience distribution lists. In collaboration with the Internal Communications team, manage the cadence of drumbeat communications channels. Understand and align messaging with the company’s mission and pillars, championing the company’s purpose through storytelling, using written and audio/video. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in journalism, public relations, communications, or English. Or Associate’s Degree + Four (4) years of related work experience. Or Eight (8) years of related work experience. 5 additional years of related experience in internal and/or corporate communications. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Have a passion for internal communications that engage and align employees. Communications experience, including developing communication plans and coordinating internal interviews, key message development, and tracking KPIs. Experience managing communications programs and projects. Demonstrated strong writing skills. Familiarity with social media and content programs, editorial calendar development. Understanding of change management best practices. Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion. Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization and across business functions, establish credibility and act as a trusted partner. Experience in healthcare preferred but not required.
