About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Risk Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic planning and oversight of enterprise-wide risk management, including the development and maintenance of risk appetite frameworks, policies, programs, and processes. This role involves ensuring that the organization effectively identifies, measures, monitors, and controls various types of risks, such as credit, interest rate, liquidity, operational, and compliance risks. The Chief Risk Officer will also be tasked with integrating risk management into business planning, establishing a compliant risk assessment system, and providing clear direction on strategic goals. Applicants for the Chief Risk Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management or compliance within the financial industry is required, along with a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations. The role demands a leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a proven track record of managing and developing personnel. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong organizational and decision-making skills, and be proficient in MS Office.
