Accounting Specialist – Santa Maria, CA
Pay: Up to $30/hr (DOE)
AppleOne is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in the Santa Maria area to find a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable organization with a collaborative team and room for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
* Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
* Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures
* Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
* Support payroll processing and expense reporting
* Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies
* Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Qualifications:
2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of AP/AR processes and general accounting principles
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
