About the Company

A growing civil contractor in the Central Texas market is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to support continued expansion across site development and utility infrastructure projects. Our work includes water, wastewater, storm drainage, earthwork, and full-site civil packages for both public and private clients. As we scale, we’re looking for a leader who can drive project execution with precision, communication, and accountability.

About the Role

The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project delivery—from contract award through closeout. This role works closely with estimating, field operations, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. You will be the primary point of contact for project performance, documentation, and client communication.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans, and coordinate daily activities with superintendents.
  • Review drawings and submittals, manage procurement, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Track production, costs, quantities, and overall job performance.
  • Manage contracts, change orders, pay applications, and project documentation.
  • Lead progress meetings, provide updates, and serve as the main contact for owners, engineers, and inspectors.
  • Support value engineering and maintain strong client and partner relationships.
  • Direct field teams and subcontractors while coordinating resource planning and logistics.
  • Collaborate with estimating during handoff and buyout and help improve project management processes.

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of project management experience in civil construction, utilities, or site development
  • Strong understanding of underground utility construction (water, sewer, storm)
  • Ability to read and interpret civil plans, profiles, and technical specifications
  • Proficiency with project management and construction software (e.g., HCSS, Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience
  • Performance-based bonus potential
  • Health insurance coverage
  • Paid time off and company holidays
