Picker-Packer Positions Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for picker-packer positions at a manufacturing company in Danbury, CT. These are temp-to-hire positions. The first shift is 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. The pay is $21 an hour. The second shift is 3:30 p.m.-12 a.m., Monday-Friday. The pay is $23 an hour. Job Responsibilities: Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) and peripheral equipment to accurately pick and pack material from designated storage locations Pack and confirm materials in appropriate shipping container and apply content label and required shipping documents Prioritize and arrange pick list based on commitment level to customers Follow all special instructions on pick list Operate shipping computer Assist in warehouse functions such as cycle counts and product placement Perform administrative work such as data entry, filing, order printing, label creation, order confirmation and tracking Operate material handling equipment Other duties as assigned Job Requirements: At least 2 years of picking/packing and shipping experience Experience using material handling equipment Average manual dexterity Able to handle physical aspects of job, including fast-paced work and moderate to heavy lifting Speak, read and write English Able to use computers and other electronic interface equipment, such as scan guns Able to work flexible hours and overtime, if needed High school diploma or equivalent Able to pass pre-employment screenings
