We’re Hiring: Outside Sales Representative (High-Ticket + Renewal Commission + Equity Upside)

Company: CDCN (Community Digital Channel NetWork)
Location: San Jose, CA
Compensation: $40K base + 15% commission OR 25% commission-only
Average Sale: $20K
Equity: Earned after 90 days via performance milestones
Renewal Income: Up to 10% renewal commission starting in Year 2

This is not a “clock-in/clock-out” sales role — this is for disciplined closers who want uncapped earning potential and the opportunity to build real upside through renewals + equity.

Compensation Options

Option 1: Salary + Commission

  • $40,000 base salary
  • 15% commission
  • Avg. commission per sale: ~$3,000

Option 2: Commission-Only (Best for Experienced Closers)

  • 25% commission
  • Avg. commission per sale: ~$5,000
  • Uncapped earnings

Renewal Income (Year 2+)

At CDCN, you build a book of business:
Starting in the second year, for accounts you closed, you can earn up to 10% commission on anniversary renewals.

Performance-Based Equity Opportunity (Eligible After 90 Days)

We offer equity options to top performers based on results and culture fit.

Milestones:

  • Close $150K revenue →
  • Close $250K total revenue →
  • Close $500K+ or contribute at a leadership/systems level → Eligible for additional Equity Option case-by-case)

What You’ll Do

  • Prospect and generate leads within your territory
  • Run in-person presentations and customer meetings
  • Maintain strong follow-up discipline
  • Handle objections and close high-ticket deals
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and pipeline accuracy
  • Hit weekly activity and revenue targets

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • 2+ years of Outside Sales experience
  • Ability to close deals in the $10K+ range
  • Strong communication and presentation ability
  • Motivated by performance and accountability
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the territory
