Capstone Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced OR RN (Registered Nurse) to provide high-quality perioperative care at a partner healthcare facility in Mattoon, IL. As an Operating Room RN, you will play a key role in supporting surgical teams and ensuring safe, patient-centered care before, during, and after procedures. You may function in circulating and, if appropriate and within scope, scrub roles, anticipating the needs of the surgical team and advocating for patient safety at all times. You will educate patients and families about the perioperative process, provide pre- and post-operative instructions, and contribute to discharge planning in coordination with the broader care team. Strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills are essential, as you will manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor. You will follow facility policies and evidence-based guidelines, participate in handoff communications, and contribute to quality and performance-improvement initiatives as needed.
