IT Project Manager / Program Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced IT Project Manager / Program Manager to lead and deliver multiple complex technology initiatives for our client Walgreens, working through CGI. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in managing large-scale IT programs, particularly within healthcare, financial services, and pharmaceutical domains, and demonstrate strong leadership across cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in IT Project Management / Program Management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
• Strong experience in Financial Services and Pharmaceutical domains.
• Demonstrated Healthcare industry experience, preferably with enterprise clients.
• Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of Azure cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with Java-based application environments.
• Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with large retail healthcare organizations.
• PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or Agile certifications.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and cloud migrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple concurrent IT projects and programs, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Provide strategic program oversight, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to align project objectives with organizational goals.
• Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and reporting.
• Drive governance, status reporting, and executive-level presentations.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies across interrelated initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare and pharmaceutical regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams, vendors, and third-party partners.
