Corteva Agriscience is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our Technical & Maintenance team supporting our agriculture, forestry, and fishing operations. In this hands-on role, you will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and automation systems that keep our production, processing, and packaging equipment running safely and reliably. Your work will directly support farmers and global food security by helping us deliver sustainable seed technologies and crop protection products. As an Industrial Electrician at Corteva Agriscience, you will work primarily in an on-site, plant and field environment, supporting a variety of industrial equipment such as motors, drives, conveyors, dryers, pumps, and processing systems used in agricultural production. You will diagnose electrical issues, interpret schematics, perform wiring and terminations, and ensure all work complies with electrical codes and Corteva safety standards. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance on low- and medium-voltage systems, motor control centers, VFDs, PLC-controlled machinery, and instrumentation devices to minimize downtime and optimize performance. You will collaborate closely with maintenance technicians, engineers, and production teams to support continuous operations, respond to equipment breakdowns, and participate in root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues. You will install and commission new equipment, assist with modifications and upgrades to control systems, and help implement reliability improvements in line with Corteva’s culture of innovation and sustainability. Using a computerized maintenance management system, you will document work orders, track parts usage, and maintain accurate maintenance records. Safety is central to this role. You will apply strict electrical safety practices, including lockout/tagout, arc flash awareness, and adherence to NFPA 70E, NEC, and company procedures. You will help identify and correct electrical hazards, participate in safety meetings and audits, and support a strong safety culture across the site. You will also contribute to housekeeping and 5S efforts in electrical rooms, panels, and work areas.
