Job description:

We are seeking a dedicated native French-speaking preschool assistant to assist our teachers and assistant teachers in creating a nurturing and educational environment for children. The ideal candidate should be friendly, enjoy working with kids, and demonstrate exceptional patience.

Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
• Engage positively with children and provide support as needed.
• Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Create a dynamic environment where play and learning flourish.
• Assist with daily classroom routines and transitions.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization.

Requirements:

• Native French speaker with fluency in spoken and written French.
• Passion for working with young children and a friendly demeanor.
• Patience and understanding of child development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple situations effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a preschool or childcare setting.
• Certification in early childhood education or related field.

Contract Length:

• More than 1 year
