Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Create Alert The Wire EDM Operator is responsible for operating electrical discharge machining (EDM) equipment to produce precision components according to specifications. Pay Rate:$19.25/hour Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by: Following prescribed quality procedures and verifying all dimensions for machining operations Making tool or work position offsets to achieve dimensionally accurate products Maintaining surface finish quality and changing tools as needed Reviewing shop routers to confirm material specifications, quantities, and work instructions Performing start-up procedures after machine crashes or major tool breakage Supporting workplace organization by cleaning machines and returning tools and fixtures to designated areas Reporting time and scrap accurately for job costing Adhering to all safety procedures and PPE requirements Performing other duties as assigned What will help you thrive in this role?
