About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Compliance Officer to oversee and manage the day-to-day administrative, lending, and operational compliance activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and administering the Compliance Management Program, as well as serving as the Compliance Committee chairperson. This role involves maintaining a thorough knowledge of banking rules and regulations, conducting quality control reviews, and ensuring compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, and the Community Reinvestment Act. The Chief Compliance Officer will also be tasked with identifying and mitigating potential risk issues, verifying the accuracy of financial calculations, and overseeing audits and examinations. Applicants for the Chief Compliance Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar role within the banking industry. Advanced knowledge of bank administration, lending, and operations products and services, as well as related state and federal laws and regulations, is essential. The role requires excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle complex problems and work independently. The Chief Compliance Officer will also be involved in training personnel, preparing reports, and supporting the company's goals and values.
