Job Description
Marathon Staffing is seeking candidates for multiple temp-to-perm, Assembler positions available immediately in Salisbury NC!
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Secure and maintain proper component parts and supplies needed for production
Set up and organize work areas prior to production
Assemble parts according to written instructions and quality standards
Operate hand tools to complete assembly tasks
Stack finished products following established procedures; cover, label, and band materials as required
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Perform pre-shift and start-up equipment inspections and report any issues
Maintain accurate production records
Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality and compliance standards are met
Perform additional tasks as assigned
Requirements include, but are not limited to:
Experience working with lumber preferred
Basic math skills and ability to read tape measures
Ability to follow specific instructions and directions
Experience using hand tools and other production equipment
Ability to understand basic verbal and written instructions in English
Pay & Growth
Starting pay: $16.00 per hour
Pay increases based on experience
Additional pay increase upon full-time hire
