About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President to join its private credit and private equity investment team. The successful candidate will be tasked with the evaluation, execution, and management of a diverse range of investment transactions within the lower middle market. This includes activities such as leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, management buyouts, refinancings, and growth financings. The role demands a high level of collaboration with senior leadership, direct involvement in investment decision-making, and oversight of the investment portfolio. Key responsibilities for the Vice President include managing and enhancing complex financial models, leading due diligence processes, and supporting portfolio companies through board-level engagement and strategic initiatives. Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree, with an advanced degree being preferred, and have 6-8 years' of relevant experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, private equity, or private credit. The role requires a candidate with strong analytical abilities, excellent organizational skills, and a highly self-motivated work ethic. The ideal candidate will have a strong team orientation, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, exceptional attention to detail, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. The Vice President will also be expected to mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional development.
