Software Test Automation Engg

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Framingham – MA – 1 position

Qualification: Bachelors' degree in Electronics Engineering. Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and 6 to 8 years' experience

Keywords: Embedded Device Software/Subsystem Testing- Manual

Rate: $60-62/hr (we can discuss on case to case basis)

Technical Skills:

• Minimum 7 years' experience in manual testing embedded device /applications (Functional, UI, Performance)
• Create acceptance criteria from requirements
• Create & execute manual test cases based on requirements, create test results
• Understand defect management, version control & test management
• Hands-on experience in Oscilloscope, Digital Multimeter, Digital Power Supplies.
• Good Communication skills
• Experience with test management tool(s)
• Design/test experience with regulated medical devices

Job Duties:

• You will collaborate with a global test team to strive for functional excellence in all aspects of daily work
• You will collaborate with leads and development engineers to build testability into the products
• You will share best practices in manual software testing and set high standards for the entire team to build consistent and maintainable tests
• You will understand the testing effort by analyzing the requirements of the project
• You will develop the test plan for the tasks, dependencies and participants required to mitigate the risks to system quality and obtain stakeholder support for the plan
• You will track and prepare reports of testing activities
• Onsite co-ordination
