Job Description

Reporting to our Chief Creative Officer, we are seeking a creative and passionate Social Media Manager to join our team. As a Social Media Manager, you will play a crucial role in crafting compelling and engaging content for various social media platforms. You will combine your design skills with a deep understanding of social media trends and user behaviors to create visually stunning and impactful graphics, videos, and other multimedia content. The ideal candidate is not only proficient in graphic design tools but also possesses excellent communication skills and a keen eye for storytelling. You will get to work with a small, brilliant team on one of the most desirable, fast growing DTC brands out there today! Responsibilities: Own all social channels from strategy to art direction to execution. Drive key KPIs including: In partnership with the digital marketing team, ideate paid ad campaigns and own execution of paid ads. Collaborate with the brand, digital and creative team to bring to life campaigns in a powerful cohesive way. Develop visually appealing and innovative content for social media platforms including but not limited to: Graphics Videos Animations Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to brainstorm and conceptualize creative ideas for social media campaigns and initiatives. Design eye-catching visuals, including social media graphics, and other promotional materials, adhering to brand guidelines and visual identity. Edit raw footage and add animations/effects. Work closely with copywriters to ensure that visual and textual elements complement each other effectively in social media posts and campaigns. Stay updated on social media trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously innovate and improve social media content strategies. Monitor the performance of social media content using analytics tools, gather insights, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization. Actively engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms to foster meaningful interactions. Maintain a strong understanding of the brand's values, voice, and messaging to effectively represent the brand across social media channels. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or related field. Proven experience 5 years+ working as a graphic designer or content manager, preferably in a social media or digital marketing environment. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.) and other relevant design and video editing software. Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, with a focus on social media content. Excellent understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and their respective content formats and best practices. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of basic principles of marketing and branding. Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms is a plus.
