Enterprise Slack Administrator

This role is for an Enterprise Slack Administrator who can manage, secure, and enhance Slack as a collaboration platform, while also building automation and integrations using APIs and scripting.

Must-Have Skills

Slack Administration (5+ Years)

• Hands-on experience in managing Slack in an enterprise environment.
• Focus on security, compliance, and governance (managing user access, data retention, security policies, audits).
• This is the primary requirement – only candidates with strong Slack admin experience will be shortlisted.

Programming & API Integration

• Proficiency in at least one language like Python or JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of API design, development, and integration (building custom apps, bots, workflows within Slack).

Automation & AI-driven Strategies

• Experience using agent-based automation or AI within Slack.
• Automating workflows, reducing manual work, and enhancing productivity.

Problem-Solving & Strategy

• Ability to think strategically about how Slack is used across the organization.
• Innovating with new features, automations, and integrations.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

AI-driven automation in Slack: Building or deploying AI-based productivity solutions within Slack.

IT Security & Compliance Knowledge: Understanding enterprise-level compliance requirements for collaboration tools.

Scripting Skills: Advanced scripting for automation and workflow optimization (beyond standard admin tasks).
