Job Description

Pay Range:
$18.50 - $26.83

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Security Officer to join our team. Security Officer I's provide safety and security services to ensure the well-being of both people and property by patrolling assigned areas as needed, and enforcing rules and regulations. This role responds to all emergency requests and alarms, providing assistance and coordination. HSHS Security are often the first or last person our patients, visitors and colleagues encounter in our facilities. Therefore, Security Officer I's are expected to be professional and courteous, while balancing the challenges that occur while working in the hospital environment .

oSchedule: Night shift, 16 hrs/wk, every Friday 11:00pm-7:00am, every other Saturday and Sunday 11:00pm-7:00am
oFacility: St. Mary's Hospital
oLocation: Green Bay, WI

Education Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED or related vocational training is required.
  • Associates degree in law enforcement, Criminal Justice or military service is preferred.
Experience Qualifications
  • One year of experience with knowledge of private security functions obtained through education or work experience such as military, public safety or fire department is preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
  • Valid state driver's license and must be insurable to operate hospital vehicles is required.
  • Successfully complete the Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) Certification within the first 90 days of employment is preferred (if utilized at the affiliate).
