Job Description

A Project Engineer job in Indianapolis, IN is currently available at Belcan. This job is a full-time position with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree and five to seven(+) years of previous project engineering experience. In this job, you will perform the integration of schedules and complete Critical Path Analyses (CPAs) to meet delivery of monthly program customer deliverables. You will also perform Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs) to support delivery of program customer deliverables. Additionally, you will support Control Account Managers with schedule maintenance and generation of new schedules while assisting with presentations of schedule data for monthly program reviews. You will be responsible for project schedule, planning, parts forecasting, risk management and coordination of all the technical activities aimed at assuring project accuracy and budget from conception to completion. Gas turbine experience is preferred. Due to the nature of the work begin performed, US Citizenship is required.

Job Duties:

*Development of project schedule utilizing MS Project.

*Determines project task and estimates by collaborating with cross-functional team.

*Communicate project status and progress to both internal team and customer.

*Maintain project schedule by monitoring progress, coordinating activities and resolving problems to ensure that customer Milestones are met.

*Control project costs by monitoring actual costs and technical progress, and update the project work package as appropriate utilizing Earned Value Management techniques.

*Ensure project risks are documented and mitigation plans developed.

*Write reports and correspondence. Present information in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

*Tracking and maintaining of schedule metrics monthly.

*Monthly schedule review with BA after upload to assure data accuracy and generate Integrated Master Schedule summary of key milestones.

*Assisting with presentations of schedule data for monthly program reviews.

*Perform other such duties as required.

Required:

*B.S. degree in a recognized engineering field from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.

*Recommended minimum of five to ten years of project engineering experience, plus task supervision of multi-disciplined team of designers and engineers.

*Experience in the field of gas turbine engines is desired.

*Experience implementing corporate policies and procedures related to task execution.

*Proficient in MS Office and MS Project.

*Proficiency in Earned Value Management is desired.

*Ability to write technical reports and correspondence including customer reports.

*Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

*Integrated Master Schedule experience.

Preferred:

*Gas turbine experience.

*Proficient data analysis and reporting experience.

*Ability to develop and manage relationships at all levels of the organization.

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $85,000 to $105,000 (Flexible), however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.'
