Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our dynamic team at BJC Health Care. The ideal candidate will have 8-9 years of experience in product management, with a strong understanding of the healthcare industry. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and overseeing the development of innovative healthcare solutions that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities
Product Vision and Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with BJC Health Care's goals and objectives.
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including clinicians, administrators, and IT teams, to gather and prioritize requirements.
Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that development teams have a clear understanding of tasks and priorities.
User Stories and Acceptance Criteria: Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the development process.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and development teams, providing regular updates on progress and changes.
Sprint Planning and Review: Participate in sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings to ensure successful delivery of product increments.
Market Research: Conduct market and competitive research to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor product performance and user feedback to continuously improve and enhance product offerings.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all product developments comply with relevant healthcare regulations and standards.

Qualifications

Experience: 8-9 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

Skills:

Strong understanding of product management principles and methodologies.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
