Job Description

Maintenance Technician

Experience The EMBREY Way by joining our dynamic Property Management team as a Maintenance Technician at Nichols Park.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform routine maintenance, repairs and inspections to ensure that buildings and facilities remain safe, functional and in good condition.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems
  • Repair or replace faulty equipment, fixtures and appliances
  • Maintain HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems as needed
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas, including janitorial duties when needed
  • Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety codes and company policies
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
  • Assist with building renovations, installations or furniture assembly
  • Monitor inventory of supplies and request replacements when necessary
  • Collaborate with contractors or vendors when specialized repairs are needed
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus
  • Proven experience in building maintenance, facilities or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general repairs
  • Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints and work orders
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects or work in tight spaces
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures
  • Valid driver's license (if travel between sites is required)
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
