Job Description An employer is seeking 2 Distribution Designers to join an Engineering Consulting firm in the Charlotte area. They will be responsible for designing and redesigning power distribution layouts for a large Energy Supplier in the Carolinas under the direct supervision of the engineering manager. They will be tasked with designing layouts and redesigning grids for the client as needed. The ideal candidate will have a background in power or utilities distribution or is a recent graduate with a strong will to learn and grow with a company. This position will cover North and South Carolina. This person will design and coordinate the maintenance, relocation, and new construction of the power grid. This position encompasses various responsibilities including, but not limited to, Fieldwork, CAD Application, Environmental Compliance Oversight, and submitting applications for Right of Way Easements, DOT Encroachment, and Railroad & Transmission Permits.
