General Manager, Hampton by Hilton - Greensburg, PA

OVERVIEW

The General Manager's role will drive the culture, guest satisfaction targets, brand standard execution and financial profitability of the hotel. This position will also lead, support, and clearly communicate goals and expectations that embody the hotel service culture.

Primary Responsibilities:

Leadership :

• Lead, inspire, and mentor the team, cultivating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
• Ensure staff receive proper training for each position.
• Manage human resource functions of the hotel by controlling turnover, motivating employees, focusing on employee development and retention.

Financial Performance:

• Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue, reduce expenses, and achieve budgetary goals.
• Monitor financial performance through regular analysis and implement corrective actions as needed.

Guest Experience:

• Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by overseeing the implementation of service standards, personalized experiences, and swift resolution of any issues
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance guest interactions and exceed expectations.

Operational Excellence:

• Maintain a seamless and efficient operation by overseeing all aspects of the hotel, including front office, housekeeping, sales, and maintenance.
• Implement best practices to uphold quality and safety standards.
• Participate in the sales/revenue management efforts at the hotel by interaction with Sales/Revenue Managers

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous General Manager experience
• Hilton experience (strongly preferred)
• Possess proficient computer skills including proficient knowledge of MS Office products, and knowledge of brand operating systems
• Able to work in fast paced environment
• Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks
• Lead by example for all team members

Work Environment and Context 

• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, using fingers and hands, kneeling, or crouching.
• Occasional travel required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,500.00 - $78,500.00 per year

Experience:

• Hotel management: 2 years (Preferred)
