We are looking for a Histotechnician II for a 13-week travel assignment in Dallas, TX. This role focuses on preparing tissue specimens for diagnostic evaluation, with a strong emphasis on microtomy, embedding, and special stains in a clinical laboratory setting. Key Responsibilities Prepare and process tissue specimens for microscopic evaluation Perform embedding and microtomy with precision Complete routine and special stains Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment Follow quality control, safety, and infection control procedures Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff Maintain accurate documentation and lab records Requirements ASCP HT or HTL certification BLS certification (AHA only) Minimum of 2 years of histology experience Hands-on experience with microtomy, embedding, and special stains Position Details Schedule: 5x8s (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift Specialty: Laboratory (Histology) If you're looking to grow your career at a well established hospital system, don't hesitate to reach out or apply!
