Job Description



As a Coordinator of NBC Sports Digital Programming, you will be responsible for the following:

Owning scheduling and series/episode creation for all NBC Sports NOW FAST channel programming

  • Schedule NBC Sports NOW 24/7 FAST Channel
  • Work closely with Peacock/NBC Sports Programming leads to schedule daily programming, programming stunts and quick-turn changes
  • Become essential point of contact for Operations teams running NBC Sports NOW FAST channel
  • Create sets of individual IDs with Gracenote and internal systems for all programming that airs in the NBC Sports FAST channel

Owning scheduling and live event prioritization for NBC Sports Radio

  • Schedule NBC Sports Radio channel for external audio partners
  • Distribute monthly/weekly programming grids at a usual cadence
  • Gather artwork, metadata and formats for all radio programming for audio partner.
  • Review and prioritize live events with audio-only rights to air live on NBC Sports Radio

Supporting all NBC Sports digital distribution points

  • Have working knowledge and interest in all NBC Sports Digital properties the team touches: Peacock, NBCSN, NBC Sports NOW, NBC Sports Radio, TV Everywhere, NBCSports.com, YouTube, Podcasts, Rotoworld and more
  • Ability to learn workflows and processes to support full team across these priorities
  • Special emphasis on Peacock Sports Programming with ability to monitor live sports streams, provide details before/after key events to cross-functional teams and update live stream schedules when changes occur and when necessary

Other Programming responsibilities

  • Provide support on select weekends to account for programming changes, cancellations, weather delays and operational issues
  • Track down and provide ad break formats for livestream Operators for various shows
  • Round up event logos, artwork and copy to editorial/marketing teams for every SLE on platform
  • Compile and track streaming consumption data
  • Track start/end times of Peacock Exclusive streams and share with research team
  • Ability to shepherd/tweak marketing assets

Qualifications



Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in media, communications, finance, accounting, business, or related fields; or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on proficiency with Excel
  • Knowledge and passion for sports and sports media

Eligibility Requirements:

Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
