Job Description

Job Title: Cleaning & Laundry Attendant Location: University Club of Saint Paul Position Summary The Cleaning & Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and well-organized environment throughout the University Club of Saint Paul. This role supports daily operations by ensuring all club areas, linens, and uniforms meet the Club's high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Key Responsibilities Cleaning Duties Clean and sanitize club spaces including dining rooms, lounges, meeting rooms, restrooms, offices, and back-of-house areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors, furniture, and fixtures Empty trash and recycling and properly dispose of waste Follow established cleaning schedules and sanitation standards Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management promptly Laundry Duties Wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, tablecloths, and staff uniforms Inspect linens and uniforms for damage or excessive wear and report issues Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of laundry equipment Ensure adequate inventory of clean linens at all times Qualifications Prior cleaning or laundry experience preferred, but not required Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor Schedule & Availability Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Work Environment Fast-paced private club environment Exposure to cleaning chemicals and laundry equipment (training provided) Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay Opportunities for additional hours Employee meals and club benefits (as applicable)
