SSD is seeking a Chemical Engineer to join our team. Chemical Engineer’s role will support the Engineering Team’s ongoing mission at Hill AFB, UT. This position is contingent upon award of contract. What You’ll Do: Provide chemical engineering support for facility operations, infrastructure systems, and mission-related projects Evaluate chemical processes, materials, and systems for performance, safety, and regulatory compliance Develop and review technical documentation, reports, and standard operating procedures Support hazardous material handling, storage, and disposal in accordance with federal and DoD regulations Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including environmental, safety, and mechanical personnel Assist with inspections, audits, and compliance reporting Provide troubleshooting and technical guidance for chemical-related systems What You Bring: (3-5 Qualifications & Requirements) Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering 3+ years of relevant engineering experience (government or defense environment preferred) Knowledge of federal environmental and safety regulations (EPA, OSHA, DoD standards) Strong technical writing and analytical skills Active Secret Clearance required What We Offer: SSD, LLC offers a competitive benefits package to include: paid holidays, paid time off including sick and vacation leave, medical, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, short and long term disability, company paid life insurance, 401(k) with a company match and discretionary profit sharing and tuition reimbursement #J-18808-Ljbffr Ssd Anc
