Job Description We are seeking an energetic and reliable Barback to join our dynamic team in Kenner, United States. As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting our bartenders and ensuring smooth bar operations by maintaining inventory, cleanliness, and overall bar efficiency.
- Stock and replenish bar supplies including glasses, ice, garnishes, and beverages
- Maintain cleanliness of bar area, equipment, and glassware
- Assist bartenders during peak hours by ensuring adequate inventory levels
- Transport and organize supplies between storage areas and bar
- Monitor ice levels and operate ice machine
- Clean and sanitize bar equipment, surfaces, and glassware
- Dispose of trash and recyclables properly
- Assist in receiving and organizing inventory deliveries
- Support closing procedures including cleaning and restocking
- Maintain organized storage areas and coolers
Qualifications - Must be 21 of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of bar equipment and basic beverage inventory management
- Available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Previous bar or restaurant experience preferred
- Understanding of proper cleaning and sanitization procedures
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and supply management
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and attitude
