Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Automotive Shop Manager to lead our automotive service team with enthusiasm and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily shop operations, ensure exceptional customer service, manage a team of technicians and staff, and drive the overall success of the shop. Your leadership will foster a positive work environment, promote safety standards, and optimize operational efficiency. Duties

  • Lead and supervise all shop activities, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Manage workflow to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee inventory management, including parts ordering, stock control, and purchasing to ensure availability of necessary supplies.
  • Handle customer interactions with professionalism, addressing inquiries, providing estimates, and resolving complaints promptly.
  • Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge in automotive repair procedures.
  • Cash handling, POS transactions, and store financial records accurately.
  • Develop and monitor budgets to ensure profitability while controlling costs related to labor, parts, and supplies.
  • Supervise inventory control processes including stock replenishment and cycle counts.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards at all times.
  • Utilize management tools for sales management, retail math calculations (such as pricing strategies), and sales tracking.
  • Foster a positive team environment through effective communication skills, leadership, and motivation techniques.
  • Maintain organized documentation of shift reports, incident reports, service records, and other administrative tasks
