Associate Designer – Children’s Apparel & Accessories

Position Type: Full-Time / Onsite 5x week

Salary Range : 65-75K

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Dreamgro, our division dedicated to children’s wear and giftable products , is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Associate Designer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to design newborn, infant, and children’s apparel, as well as accessories, toys, travel items, and thoughtfully crafted packaging. Job responsibilities include:

• Design flat sketches, colored CADs, and technical drawings for our children's wear product line
• Build and maintain accurate tech packs, spec sheets, and product details
• Collaborate with product development, production, and merchandising teams to bring designs from concept to finished product
• Ensure designs meet aesthetic, quality, safety, and fit standards specific to children's products
• Assist with the creation of customer catalogs, sales presentations, and other visual assets
• Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive products, and market research
• Maintain organized design files and manage artwork revisions efficiently
• Perform related duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES

• Strong understanding of garment specs, fit, materials, and construction methods
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
• Creative thinker with the ability to translate concepts into commercially viable products
• A positive, collaborative team player eager to grow in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with plush toy design, soft goods, or giftable product development, is a plus

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, graphic design, or a related field; or an Associate’s degree with 3+ years of Industrial Design and/or Graphic Design.
