Job ID: 10427646 | Amazon.com Services LLC This position requires in‑role training at an operating site for at least two weeks, located more than 50 miles from the home site. All travel accommodations for training will be booked and paid for by Amazon. This role also requires open flexibility to work ten‑hour overnight shifts (late afternoon to early morning) on a front‑half (Sunday–Wednesday) or back‑half (Wednesday–Saturday) schedule. We are looking for motivated, customer‑focused individuals to join our team as an Area Manager. In this role, you will lead a team of hourly employees and be responsible for ensuring safety, quality, attendance, and performance during their shifts. You will also help maintain customer expectations to ensure orders are delivered on time to the right location. Our operations workflow has three major components: first mile – where the product is housed and ready for order; middle mile – where the order is hauled to your area; and last mile – when the product is delivered to the customer’s door. Rapid and Rural Logistics (R2L) is an exciting organization within Amazon that focuses on delivering items quickly to doorstep. Rural Super Rural (RSR) is a subset of R2L dedicated to ensuring customers receive deliveries and are satisfied with their service, even in the most remote areas.
