Current ATCS Openings by Location Bend, OR (BDN- New Tower Commissioning) – APPLY HERE Bethel, AK (BET) – APPLY HERE Bozeman, MT (BZN) – APPLY HERE Jackson, WY (JAC) – APPLY HERE King Salmon, AK (AKN) – APPLY HERE Kodiak, AK (ADQ) – APPLY HERE Lewiston, ID (LWS) – APPLY HERE Medford, OR (MFR) – APPLY HERE Missoula, MT (MSO) – APPLY HERE Redmond, OR (RDM) – APPLY HERE Walla Walla, WA (ALW) – APPLY HERE Current ATM Openings by Location Bend, OR (New Tower Commissioning) – APPLY HERE What We Offer You may qualify for additional incentives dependent on location Optional paid time off allowance Housing stipend Relocation allowance Complexity pay As a member of the Air Traffic Control team, you can expect to: Answer radio calls from arriving/departing aircraft Issue landing/takeoff instructions Provide information such as runway usage, wind velocity/direction, visibility, taxiing instructions, and data on other aircraft operating in the vicinity Issue air traffic clearances Perform critical weather observations as a Limited Aviation Weather Reporting Station (LAWRS) observer and disseminate timely weather information Transfer and receive control of aircraft Operate equipment such as radios, telephones, interphones, computer systems, radar, recording systems, weather equipment, light guns, airport/runway lighting systems, and backup equipment Alert Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighters and other first responders to aircraft experiencing emergency situations Coordinate with and issue instructions to airport vehicles/personnel Maintain and disseminate records of daily operations Perform on‑the‑job training instructor duties as required Serco Inc. is using this posting for the purpose of building a talent pipeline of qualified candidates for future growth. Requirements To Join The Team US citizenship FAA Second Class Medical Certificate Control Tower Operator (CTO) rating or a credential with a Tower Rating and 6 months of practical experience in accordance with 14 CFR Part 65.39 Eligibility to work for Serco under Federal Immigration Laws Verification of education and employment references from previous employers, including release of drug and alcohol records Passing a pre‑employment drug screen Receiving an FAA Security clearance (interim and final suitability) Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States Professional development is a top priority at Serco. Pay Transparency & Benefits The hourly amount for this position is listed at the top of this posting. Salary is covered by the Service Contract Act and the prevailing wage for the location.
